Hunger Games. The film series that seems to be on everyone’s minds. Especially since the second part of the film series is coming out in a few weeks. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen this film advertised from make-up brands to even a sub shop. This film really is getting a lot of hype.
But then it hit me.
Is this film really going to be as great as they are making it out to be. I mean from the look of the previews it looks like it’s going to be good. I even saw the trailer in another film I went and saw over summer and to me it looked like it was going to be interesting. But since the marketing companies are going crazy with this, will it really be that good? In my honest opinion, I really don’t know. I’m not saying it’s going to be bad, but I’m also not saying it’s going to be great either. I’m simply saying that just because it’s getting a lot of hype, doesn’t mean it’s going to be good. Advertisements are misleading sometimes and even film trailers can be misleading. In the past there are some of the best films around that had the worst trailers and vise versa. But there have been some films that have been amazing and had really good trailers. Like Avatar, for example. Whether you like the film or not, it still was a pretty good film and had a pretty good trailer to go with it.
Bottom line, I’m not really saying this is going to be the best film ever, but I’m also not saying it’s going to be the worst. I’m just going to treat this film on level ground until I get the chance to go and see it, and then I will voice my opinions on it. The first film was really good, so the second one should be as well right? I don’t know. What do you think about this film?
